In 1963 the first headquarters was established near Racale railway station, immediately becoming an important logistics hub for the members' production: the product they delivered was processed and loaded directly onto freight wagons bound for Northern Europe, mainly Germany.
Driven by its members, who produced fruit and vegetables and, alongside them, olive oil, in the 1990s the cooperative entered the extra virgin olive oil sector with its first plant for the cold extraction and processing of quality EVO oil.
The cooperative built its new, current headquarters on Via Ugento: a production plant of over 3,000 sq m under cover, equipped with new and innovative processing lines, including the brand-new, state-of-the-art oil mill dedicated exclusively to pressing the best olive harvests of its members and of Salento.
The cooperative acquired new machinery, upgrading its new-potato processing lines and adding state-of-the-art cold rooms for storing and preserving the products.
For over 60 years we have supported Salento farmers, guaranteeing a short and transparent supply chain.
